Downtown Cary weekend fun

Cary is having their first car show this Saturday, March 24 from 9 am - 5 pm in downtown Cary on Academy Street. Wheels on Academy will showcase classic and nostalgic cars and motorcycles. Kids will enjoy "touching" and seeing police cars, fire trucks and Cary's new hybrid trash truck. There will also be an art exhibit of cars and works crafted by car parts. While the boys are checking out the cars, maybe mom can escape to The Purple Polka Dot  at 114 S. Academy Street. This store resembles a cute cottage filled with Southern charm.
