So much to do...So much to save
There's a lot happening now thru February. So here's a run-down of my favorite picks sales and activities.
Triangle Restaurant Week- Jan. 23-29, 2012. Restaurants will be offering a special fixed price, 3-course meal each and every day they are open during the event. Prices are per person and do not include a beverage, tax or tip. Prices are $15 Lunch (optional) and $20 or $30 Dinner. Reservations are recommended. Some of my favorite restaurants that are participating are Mez, 518 West, Flemings, The Pit, Tribecca Tavern, Napper Tandys and Sullivans. Visit TRW restaurants for a complete list of restaurants.
Playnation Morrisville is starting $5 Fridays beginning Feb. 24th. Open play from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Pack a dinner or order in and make it a family fun evening of play. Visit Playnation for more details.
Mom's need some encouragement too. Visit Mopshop.org and get some great savings on books, t-shirts and stuff for the kids too. My favorites include: Momsense, a common sense guide to confident mothering for $9.99, Spring-y T for $5, and My Favorite Bible for kids only $6.99.
It's consignment time. Clean out last season's spring and summer clothes and start tagging it, and make some extra cash. Or you can find great buys on gently-used clothes, toys, gear and books. Visit Consignment Mommies to find a consignment sale near you. My favorite include The 2nd Look Boutique, Kids Everywear and Twice as Nice. Consignment Mommies is also having a Pinetrest contest to win a $100. Visit Pinetrest-ing to learn more about the contest.
